Slide 1 / 5Review ▸ New Comment starts a threaded conversation attached to a cell — others can reply, and you can Resolve the thread when it's done. Type @ and a colleague's name to mention them; they get an email notification.
Notes (Review ▸ Notes) are simple sticky-note annotations with no replies — good for explaining a cell's source or assumption.
A purple corner marks a comment; a red corner marks a note. Show Comments opens a pane listing every conversation in the workbook.
