Slide 1 / 5Rogers' theory: adoption spreads through a population over time: • Innovators (~2.5%), early adopters (~13.5%), early majority (34%), late majority (34%), laggards (16%). • Adoption is faster when the innovation has relative advantage, compatibility with existing values/workflow, low complexity, trialability and observability. Informatics tip: recruit early adopters as champions; make benefits visible.
