Introduction to Django

Django is a free, open-source web framework written in Python. It helps you build secure, database-driven websites quickly, with less code.

It powers sites of every size — from small blogs to large platforms such as Instagram and Mozilla's websites.

Django's motto: "The web framework for perfectionists with deadlines." It favors clean design, reusable components, and not repeating yourself (DRY).
