What does serverless mean?
Slide 1 / 5Serverless doesn't mean there are no servers — it means you don't see or manage them. AWS provisions, patches, and scales the underlying machines; you provide only your code.
You pay only when the code runs, and it scales automatically from zero to thousands of requests.
With EC2 you manage instances; with serverless services you focus entirely on application logic.
